The AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter, Flying Tiger, is the advanced AH-64D Longbow. It has improved sensor suite & weapons systems. The Dayton Ohio Air show takes place near the National Museum of the United States Air Force near Wright-Patterson AFB, the birthplace of aviation.
The Dayton Air Show features precision aerial maneuvers to display some of the world's most amazing aircraft. Some portions are so dangerous they have resulted in crashes - stunt pilot Jim LeRoy had a fatal crash July 28 2007. However the same aerobatics procedures continue unchanged in this year's show. Some of the demonstrations are at just below, or possibly at, supersonic speeds.
