Last July more than a dozen police officers and officials from China』s extra-judicial 』610 Office』 broke into the home of Jin Pang』s parents. The Epoch Times newspaper reports that three laptops, two desktop computers, various Falun Gong materials, a digital camera, and bank deposits valued at an estimated $7000 were confiscated. On July 29th Jin』s parents were arrested while visiting a friend and are now being held in Weifang City Detention Center. Fifty other Falun Gong practitioners were kidnapped in Weifang City around the same time. According to the Falun Dafa Information Centre (FDI), more than 8,000 Falun Gong practitioners, across 29 provinces, have been arrested over the past seven months. 500 of them are from Beijing.
